The 2016 Trittenheimer Apotheke Riesling Kabinett has a bright citrus color and a bouquet of flowers and discreet fruit aromas, very clear and only shyly opening up with vegetal and fine Riesling aromas. Bottled in April 2017 (AP #1), this is a lush, piquant, mouth-filling but pure and refined Apotheke with elegant fruit and a stunningly complex, grippy finish. With lingering slate aromas, this is terribly fresh and mineral-a picture-book Kabinett that is still very, very young but already delicious!
