Tar, white pepper, figs, wet gravel, kalamata olives and dried plums. The fruit can be coaxed out with some air, but it is the spice and the olives and the tar which drive this earthy and old-world styled Syrah. Medium bodied with silky tannins.

A very classy wine, showing rich black fruit, violet notes and high quality tannins, wrapped around bright acidity. A superbly drinkable wine of impeccable elegance and balance.
